View on Eventbrite
For nearly two decades, Willie Watson, an original founding member of Old Crow Medicine Show, has made modern folk music rooted in older traditions. He’s a folksinger in the classic sense: a singer, storyteller, and traveller, with a catalog of songs that bridge the gap between the past and present. Southern gospel. Railroad songs. Delta blues. Irish fiddle tunes. Appalachian music are all a part of the full range of Willie Watson’s artistry. Since parting ways with his former band to become a solo act, this multiple instrumentalist has frequently partnered with Gillian Welch and David Rawlings to perform as a trio, as well as putting out two albums, his latest "Folksinger Vol. 2" that came out in late 2017, which he is touring to promote.
Katie Pruitt is a young, talented, and fiercely passionate songwriter within Nashville’s music community. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Katie wholeheartedly embraced her new city and for the past three years has swiftly built a reputation around her dynamic vocals and soulful, bluesy sound.
Andy Hughes is a beloved native son to the area and has long been a crowd favorite fronting his band TUGG. With his solo debut release in 2017, "Heartland and Heartaches", he expanded his repertoire for as a songwriter towards a more introspective Americana folk sound.
